I cannot wait to see everyone at our sold-out event. With 40% of attendees at director level and above and more than 60% of attendees representing airline partners, it’s sure to be an exciting week. **BEFORE YOU TRAVEL** Make sure you don’t leave the house without double-checking your packing list! **Attire** Elevate 2018’s dress code is business casual. Be sure to bring shoes you feel comfortable walking in. We have a ton in store (lots of networking), so make sure you’re ready to walk around and meet new people! **Forecast** Fall is here, and for our area, that means warmer days and cooler nights. You may find conference rooms a little chilly, so keep that in mind when packing. My advice? Bring layers! **Download the App** Before you get on your plane, [**download the Elevate 2018 app**](https://crowd.cc/s/1NzZi) and explore Elevate 2018’s schedule, the 21 sessions, our 54 speakers, and so much more. **The essentials** From lotion to lip balm, medicines to chargers, don’t forget everyday items. You’ll be busy meeting so many people, you don’t want to get sick or have to run to the store! **ONCE YOU GET HERE** You’re finally here! Don’t waste a moment while you’re with us. **Staying at the Hyatt?** You’re staying in the heart of the action! The Hyatt has convenient shuttles that go back and forth from Dulles International Airport (IAD) throughout the day. Just so you know, ATPCO won’t be providing shuttles to surrounding hotels, but we do recommend ride sharing (like [Uber](https://www.uber.com/en/us/ride/) or [Lyft](https://www.lyft.com/rider)) to get you to the venue. Or, talk to your hotel’s front desk to see what other options, like buses and taxis, you have. **Keep it fit** Want to keep your gym streak going, or make sure you take enough steps for your Fitbit while you travel? Check out your hotel’s gym ([here’s](https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/virginia/hyatt-regency-reston/resto) the Hyatt’s) and [surrounding trails](https://www.reston.org/Parks,RecreationEvents/Pathways/tabid/418/Default.aspx) for a scenic run. My personal favorite, the [W & OD trail](https://www.traillink.com/trail/washington-and-old-dominion-railroad-regional-park-(wod)/), is just steps away from Reston Town Center! **Explore the area!** You’re staying near our nation’s capital and there’s so much to see! The area surrounding the hotel is a [bustling, charming space](https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/virginia/hyatt-regency-reston/resto) with many shops and restaurants. And, if you have the time, [check out](https://washington.org/) what else Washington, DC, has to offer!
